Andre Birleanu

Andre Birleanu (born August 7, 1982) is a Russian-Romanian supermodel and executive producer involved in numerous campaigns and international fashion publications.^[1][2] He is a television personality featured on MTV^[3] and Vh1^[4] channel's America's Smartest Model in over 42 countries internationally.^[5] Birleanu was featured in many global campaigns throughout the years including Dolce & Gabbana with actress Monica Bellucci, daughter Azzura and ex-wife Eloisa Birleanu but also for Jean Paul Gaultier, Hamilton Watch, Speedo, Converse, Fila, Rocawear, , Diesel Jeans, , Calvin Klein CK1 Fragrance, LRG, Underwear, Jordache Jeans and many others.^[6][7][8] As executive producer, Birleanu has created fashion covers, global advertising campaigns, interviews and editorials for publications such as Vogue,^[9] Elle,^[10] GQ,^[11] Schön,^[12] L'Officiel, Hunger, Numéro, USED,^[13][14] Tatler, S Magazine,^[15] and Harper's Bazaar.^[16][17]

Early life[]

Birleanu is the son of Vladimir Simonov, a Russian diplomat and international lawyer and Carmen Bîrleanu, a Romanian diplomat.^[18] Birleanu was born in the Soviet Union, Moscow, but traveled extensively due to his father's work under the Soviet diplomatic corp.^[19] In 1996, his mother was working for the United Nations in New York and invited her son to America to attend University.^[20] He attended John Jay Criminal Justice Academy, having been awarded a full scholarship. Soon after he was discovered as a model and decided to put it all on stand-by as the traveling didn't allow him to properly attend his classes.^[20] He is fluent in English, Romanian, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese,^[21] and still struggling with his native Russian as depicted on America's Smartest Model.^[22]

MTV channel named Andre Birleanu "one of the hottest men on television" placing him on their top 10 list.^[23] ABC channel named Birleanu one of the top TV bad boys adding that "when Andre Birleanu graced our television sets, he brought sexy back with a villainous twist ".^[24] Andre Birleanu was named among other known athletes "top 10 Best Abs in Hollywood" along with Hugh Jackman, Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham,.^[25][26] Andre Birleanu was named by People Magazine as one of the sexiest men^[27] while the American Broadcasting Company called him one of Top 10 TV Villains.^[28]

While attending John Jay Criminal Justice Academy in New York, he was approached by the team of Boss Models; at the same time Karen Lee head of International Scouting at Elite Models New York was pulling him towards John Casablanca.^[29]

Birleanu is the founder and executive producer of SUPREME Rocket Productions, a multi-purpose European corporation that since September 2011 has expanded into a variety of creative industries,^[30] making international fashion covers, software implementation in fashion industry, representing art of painters like Rothko, Van Gogh, Ruben, Pollock, managing careers of only Olympic and Paralympic champions such as olympic cyclist champion , welterweight boxing champion Dudley O'Shaughnessy, actor MMA fighter Florian Munteanu, Olympic rowing champion , Paralympic cyclist champion, Hall of Famer, World Record Holder and active Sports Minister Carol-Eduard Novak, high jump champion Levern Spencer, paralympic triathlon champion Mhlengi Gwala, weightlifting champion Dmytro Chumak^[31] also awarded high-end fashion professionals such as french director ^[32] and american photographer .^[33] Since December 2016 Birleanu is also the founder and chief financial officer of Supreme Global a British corporation.^[30] At the beginning of 2018 Andre Birleanu and Olympic cyclist champion patented a new team (squad) inline skating Olympic sport for ice and asphalt/tarmac and in March the same year had their first competition held in Alkmaar, Netherlands with sponsors, international teams, evidently monetary prizes and even televised.^[34][35]

Andre Birleanu was featured in the music video "Every Word" as the love interest of pop star Daniella Pavicic.^[45] The song and video have been #1 Song of the Year in United States and UK BILLBOARD top music charts for 46 weeks and won multiple awards.^[46][47] "Every Word" video was produced by of ( Backstreet Boys, Riz, Kim Sozzi )

Personal life[]

While residing and filming between New York and Hollywood in 2009, he dated Brazilian model Ana Catharina Soares Jaqueira who is the mother of his first child, Eva Sofia Birleanu.^[55] Soon after the birth in Brazil, the relationship ended.^[56] In 2012 while shooting on location in São Paulo Brazil. Andre Birleanu dated Brazilian model Eloisa Fontes for two years and in 2014 they got married.^[57] Eloisa is the mother of his second daughter Azzura Birleanu,.^[10][58][59] In September 2015 Birleanu filed for divorce, won custody away from the mother and since raised his second daughter by himself. In February 2017, Birleanu started dating model who months after happily announced their Apollo soon coming to life but in September, Nathalia Oliveira had a miscarriage due to her thrombosis condition which Andre said he knew nothing about. Devastated, Andre separated days after Nathalia Oliveira emergency trophoblastic tumor surgical intervention in London at UCLH^[60] with her returning to Brazil. In December 2018 start it dating model and in September 2019 on the same day a year later his son Apollo past away, came into the world daughter Aida Birleanu.^{[61][62][63][64]}

Controversy[]

In October 2007, there were allegations of sexual misconduct from a model whom he had previously dated but soon after all has been dismissed. The district attorney's office in the Criminal Court of Manhattan dismissed the case and dropped all charges. Birleanu maintained his innocence and wished to counter prosecute for false charges and slanderous allegations.^[65] In 2012 Birleanu was the victim of an armed robbery assault while visiting his daughter Eva in Salvador de Bahia; Birleanu fought the knife armed criminals sending two to hospital while third got away, not aware that the Brazilian Military Police were on standby, and recording the entire incident. The recording was used later to obtain a conviction .^[66][67] In June 2021 Birleanu was assaulted with knives by three intoxicated rappers from Golden Boy Society a label owned by Alex Velea, while in Bucharest training with a cycling peloton for Tokyo 2021 Olympics. The three have been apprehended by a special SWAT team and prosecuted for: assault, assault with a deadly weapon and destruction of property ; the trial is still on going . As a response to the incident , Golden Boy Society label and Alex Velea released a very graphic diss/song and video, using knives and swords, making threats and instigating to violence which led to yet another criminal charge.,,.^{[68][69][70][71]}
