Anil Vadakkekkara, popularly known as Anil Eswar, is an Indian cinematographer working in Malayalam and Telugu film industries.[1] He started his career in cinematography with Dolls, a 2013-film directed by Shalil Kallur, and a year later, worked with T. A. Razzaq, the award-winning screenwriter, for his directorial debut, , which was released in 2016.[2][3] In between, he worked as the cinematographer for the movie, Saigal Padukayanu, directed by Sibi Malayail.[4][5] Kattumakkan of Shalil Kallur with Mukesh in the lead and Pathemari of Salim Ahamed, a Mammootty-starrer, were two other films he worked in 2016, as an associate of Madhu Ambat in the latter.[6] He also did a Telugu movie, Gulf, directed by Sunil Kumar Reddy, in 2016. The latest of his films is Poottu, a movie shot in the United Arab Emirates and directed by Rajeevnath.[7]

Anil Eswar was born in the south Indian state of Kerala and resides in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.[8]
