Anita Turner

Anita Turner (born 1972) is a British script editor, and television producer. From 2008 to 2009 Turner was the series producer of the British television soap opera Emmerdale.[1]

Early career[]

Turner worked as a script editor for the ITV series Emmerdale, and held that role for three years.[citation needed]

Emmerdale[]

Turner replaced Kathleen Beedles as series producer of Emmerdale in early 2008.[2] Her first produced episode aired on Monday 3 March, 2008; it featured the civil partnership celebration of the characters Paul Lambert and Jonny Foster.[citation needed]

On 17 January 2009, it was announced that Turner would leave her role as series producer of the show.[citation needed]
