Anjana Vasan (born 31 January) is a Singaporean actress and singer-songwriter based in London.[1] She gained prominence through her stage work in plays such as Summer and Smoke (Almeida Theatre), Rutherford and Son (National Theatre) and A Doll's House (Lyric Hammersmith).[2] As of 2021, she stars in the Channel 4 sitcom We Are Lady Parts.[3]

Early and personal life[]

Vasan was born in Chennai in India to a Tamil family and moved to Singapore when she was four.[4][5][6] She took theatre studies at a university in Singapore before relocating to the United Kingdom, where she graduated in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Acting from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.[7][8]
