Anny or Anietie Robert is a Nigerian celebrity, portrait photographer and creative director born on 28 October 1990 in Niger State, Nigeria. After years as a graphic artist, Robert began his photography career in 2014. He studied computer science at the Covenant University.

Works[]

Exploring spaces, people, and light, Anny produces portraits and celebrity pictures and works with people across fields and specializations. These include names as Davido, Donald Duke, Ice Prince and Folorunsho Alakija. Anny and own the photo studio StudioX.[1][2]

Anny's photography interprets in fragments, predominantly with light, and color, the artist's view of the model,[3] Anny has been listed as one of the top and most popular photographers in Nigeria and Africa.[4][5][6][7][8] His photography depicts the intense exploration of ideas and human realities.[9][10] Anny's social activism with photography has seen him create social works. It includes a photo session for breast cancer survivor as part of breast cancer awareness activities in 2017 and discovering and promoting the model .[11][12]

Promoting the female identity, in 2017, Anny released a series of images investigating the identity of the modern woman.[13][14] In 2019, collaborating with (a female fashion brand in Nigeria), Anny's session called "I am Woman", with prints and colors explores women in different facets in celebration of the Women's History Month. This session features the fashion model Aduke Bey, and Angel Obasi, a Nigerian stylist.[15][16][17]

Anny served as a judge for the OPPO Mobile's Redefinition Photography Contest, in a series designed to test OPPO F11 Pro photography ability, documented the lives of young Lagosians.[18][19][20]
