Anthony Cheung (composer)

Anthony Cheung is a composer and a pianist. He won a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2016,[1] the Rome Prize in 2013,[2] and first prize in the Sixth International (2008).[3]

Work[]

Cheung composes a wide range of concert music, including solo and orchestral works. His works have been commissioned by Ensemble Modern,[4][5] Ensemble Intercontemporain, and the Cleveland Orchestra, among others.

He is currently Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Chicago.
