Anthony J. Mastalir is a colonel in the United States Air Force currently standing up U.S Space Forces Central Command. Previously he was commander of the Space Launch Delta 30, and Deputy Director, Space Security and Defense Program, Colorado Springs, Colorado.[1][2][3][4]

Mastalir earned his commission as a graduate of Northwestern University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. In the past he has completed a series of operational, staff and command assignments in satellite launch, on-orbit command and control, ICBM launch, space control, policy, space security and defense, and legislative affairs. Mastalir has led organizations responsible for developing and integrating innovative space capabilities; planning and executing exercises and wargames; providing intelligence support; conducting operational test and evaluation; and developing advanced space training and tactics.[1]
