Aria can be a male or female name depending on the country of origin. It means "air" and the melody "Aria" in Italian. In Albanian, Ari(a) means 'treasure' or 'gold', 'of high value'. It also means "Lioness" in Hebrew (ארייה), and "noble" in Persian (آریا). Aria is a masculine Persian name. In India it is used as both a masculine and a feminine name.^[1][2]
