The ASAHI Motor Corporation (朝日自動車株式会社, Asahi Jidosha Kabushiki-gaisha) is a bus company within the Tobu Group which was established on 11 January 1941 in Tsuchiura.[3][4][5][6]

The bus company established on 11 January 1941 in Tsuchiura as a company of taxi and bus. Taxi business of Tobu Railway on stations which belonged to Tobu Railway transferred to this company in 1954. The company has made inroads bus business since 1993 as "21条バス" which charter buses are used on route buses by requesting from a local government. The company has been transferred part of offices and vehicles of the Tobu Railway bus department since 1994. Besides, the bus company has been transferred a lot of offices and vehicles since 1999 until 2002 from Tobu Bus. As Tobu Bus was spilt from Tobu Railway in 2002, Asahi Motor has not been transferred bus routes, vehicles and offices of other bus company of Tobu Group since 2002. The bus company discontinued charter bus in 2008, but the business of charter bus was spilt into subsidiary companies. The bus company has shares of Bando Bus and son on, besides is core company of Asahi Motor Corporation Group which is belonged to TOHOKU KYUKO BUS, Kan-etsu Kotsu, Nikko-koutsu, Kokusai Juo Bus, KAWAGOE Motor, Bando BUS, IBAKYU Motor.
