Ashley-Chicot Electric Cooperative

Ashley-Chicot Electric Cooperative is a non-profit rural electric utility cooperative headquartered in Hamburg, Arkansas, with a district office in Lake Village, Arkansas.

The Cooperative was organized in February, 1941 and the first power lines were energized in March 1944.

The Cooperative serves portions of three counties in the state of Arkansas and one parish in Louisiana, in a territory generally located in southeastern Arkansas near the Mississippi River:

As of September 2005, the Cooperative has more than 1,594 miles of power lines, and services 4,908 members.
