Ashley Nichole Sessa (born 23 June 2004)[1] is an indoor and field hockey player from the United States, who plays as a midfielder and forward.[2]

Personal life[]

Ashley Sessa was born and raised in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania.[2]

Sessa has announced her commitment to the University of North Carolina.[3][2][4]

Career[]

Club hockey[]

Ashley Sessa is a current player for the hockey team.[5]

Indoor[]

In 2019, Sessa made her first appearance for the team, during a test series against Croatia in Sveti Ivan Zelina. She then went on to represent the team at the , where she won a gold medal.[6]

Sessa won her second gold medal with the USA Indoor team in 2021, at the Indoor Pan American Cup in Spring City,[7][8] where she was also named Player of the Tournament.[9]

Junior national team[]

Ashley Sessa made her debut for the United States U–21 team in 2021, at the Pan American Junior Championship in Santiago.[9][10]
