Asprocottus korjakovi is one of the 30 or so endemic sculpin fish species endemic to the ancient lake Baikal in Siberia. It is a member of the deepwater sculpin family Abyssocottidae,[1] and was described scientifically by Valentina Sideleva in 2001.[2]
