The Atlanta Empire are an American professional basketball team based in Atlanta, Georgia, and a member of The Basketball League (TBL).

History[]

On August 9, 2020, Evelyn Magley, CEO of The Basketball League (TBL), stated that Atlanta, Georgia, was approved as a basketball franchise for the upcoming 2021 season.The franchise will be part of a new Southeast Conference with the , Tampa Bay Titans, Raleigh Firebirds.[1] [2] On January 1, 2021 the team announced that it would sit out the 2022 season and return in 2023. [3] On January 22, 2022it was announced that Justin Tuoyo signed with Sporting CP.[4]
