August First Film Studio, or Bayi Film Studio, is a state-run film studio in China.

History[]

August First Film Studio was established on August 1, 1952. It was originally called the PLA Film Studio (Chinese: 解放军电影制片厂). In 1956, it was renamed August First Film Studio.

Since 1952, August First Film Studio has produced more than 2400 films, including Tracks In the Snowy Forest, Tunnel Warfare, and .
