Austin Strand (born February 17, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the Seattle Thunderbirds and Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League (WHL).[1]

Playing career[]

Strand was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract by the Los Angeles Kings on November 28, 2017.[2] On October 19, 2020, he was re-signed to a one-year contract.[3] Strand made his NHL debut on February 5, 2021, in the Kings' 5–2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.[4][5]
