Nur Suhada "Ayda" Jebat (born 17 March 1992) is a Malaysian singer and actress.[1] She was one of the participants of the 9th season of Akademi Fantasia. He became known to many through the drama Rindu Awak 200% (2014). His film credits include Gila-Gila Remaja 2 (2013) and Pinjamkan Hatiku (2017).[2][3]
Early life[]
She was born as Nur Suhada binti Jebat on 17 March 1992 in Ayer Keroh, Melaka[4][5][6] and he was the eldest of four siblings in his family, he had two sisters and a brother. One of her younger sisters is Nur Shafinaz or more affectionately known as Fina. He was raised by his mother after his parents divorced.[7][8][9]
Career[]
2011–2013: Akadmei Fantasia and career beginnings[]
Ayda's career as an artist began when she joined the Akademi Fantasia reality show for season 9 where at a curtain concert held on April 2, 2011, she sang the song Separuh Nafas group song Dewa 19 and Love The Way You Lie song Rihanna. However, in the third week of the concert, Ayda was eliminated through Operation Fall. After Akademi Fantasia 9 ended, Ayda recorded her solo single titled "Beri Aku Waktu" and then began her acting career as an assistant character as Mira in the telefilm CerCiter Cinta starring Rozita Che Wan and Shahir from Akademi Fantasia season eighth. In 2013, Ayda made her first film appearance as an assistant character as Zetty in the remake of Gila-Gila Remaja, Gila-Gila Remaja 2 starring Hairul Azreen, Faralyna Idris and Bella Dally, it is also a continuation of the original 1985 film with the same title starring Faizal Hussein.
2014: Mutual success Rindu Awak 200%[]
Ayda forged her biggest success in 2014 when she played the character of Armel Aisya in the drama adaptation of the novel Rindu Awak 200% with Zul Ariffin.[10] The series later became a critically acclaimed Malaysian television show, propelling his name to the pinnacle of popularity and qualifying him to win the MeleTOP New Artist at the Anugerah MeleTOP Era.
2015 – present: Career development[]
In 2015, following the success of the drama Rindu Awak 200%, Ayda got her second lead role in the TV series, Suami Sebelah Rumah with actor and singer, Izzue Islam. While the drama was still airing, she played the role of an assistant in the series Isteri Separuh Masa with Emma Maembong and Aiman Hakim Ridza. He was once again paired with Zul through a drama series adaptation of the novel, M.A.I.D..
She was chosen to be among the actors who lent their voices in the Malay language version of the 2014 American science fiction action film, Transformers: Age of Extinction. She holds the character as Tessa Yeager played by Nicola Peltz.[11][12] In July 2015, she released a single "Siapa Diriku" the creation of Omar K. The song clearly tells about the reality of the life of an artist who is often the victim of criticism of keyboard heroes on social media. His music video, which was uploaded on his official YouTube channel on September 14, 2015, managed to hit over one million views in just three weeks.[13]
The music video for Siapa Diriku also received collaboration from the smartphone brand OPPO of which Ayda is the spokesperson. In addition, she also appeared in the Buletin Utama on TV3 on September 17, 2015, to share his experience with the latest OPPO series, including[14]
Ayda is also famous in neighboring countries such as Singapore, Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia. In Indonesia, Ayda starred in the RTV telefilm titled From Hater to Lover with Dimas Aditya and appeared in the De'Meisis group's music video, Biar Saja .
Personal life[]
She was engaged to host and actor Nabil Mahir on April 28, 2020, in conjunction with Nabil's 32nd birthday.[15] The couple got engaged online using the Google Meet app.[16]
Ayda and Nabil were accepted on January 1, 2021.[17][18]
On September 21, 2021, Ayda gave birth to her eldest daughter.[19]
