Błotnica [bwɔtˈnit͡sa] (German: Schlammsack) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gronowo Elbląskie, within Elbląg County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Gronowo Elbląskie, 10 km (6 mi) west of Elbląg, and 89 km (55 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).

The village has a population of 80.
