Ba Fadal
Ba Fadal (Somali: Baa Fadal, Arabic: بافضل) are a Yamani tribe, from Hadramaut, Yemen. Some moved to many countries for spread Islam. Somalia was one of the countries they migrated to. They're a Benadiri clan predominately based in historic Shingani district of Mogadishu.[1] However, there are established settlements on the road to Merca in the village of 'Number 50' (Somali: Lambar Konton) and Ugunji[2]

Notable people[]
- Sheikh Abubakr Abdulrahman Baafadal was a friend of Sheikh Sufi al-Shaashi and they were the students of Sheikh Abikar Al-Mihdhar.
- Sheikh Abdullah Abdulrahman Ikar Baafadal was a teacher and some of his students became preachers.
- Sheikh Ahmed Muhiyyidin, was the teacher of Sheikh Abba ALShaanshi from who he received his ijaza on the qaddiriyah tariqa from.[3]
- Sheikhs of Alshuhadaa: Sheikh AbdulQadir Muhammad Ali Baafadal, and Sheikh Muhammad Muhayyidin Baafadal. He was killed along with some of Sheikh Aweys Al-Qadri.
- Sheikh Omar Mohamud Bafadal assassinated by the Italian colonialists.
- Former politician/ Mayor: Haji Aweys Abdulkadir Baafadal.
- Former Mail Manager: Sheikh Aweys Mahamed.
- General Secretary of Beledweyne, Director: Omar Ahmed Muhiyadin (Franjees)
- Professor Mohamed Omar Muhiyyidin Baafadal and his brother Master Abdalla Omar Muhiyyidin.
Bafadal Banadari, known as the Mashaayikh AL-ilmi, is a clan known to welcome guests. They live in the Banadir and Lower Shabelle regions.
