Babięta [baˈbjɛnta] (German: Babienten; 1938-1945: Wehrkirchen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Piecki, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Piecki, 21 km (13 mi) south of Mrągowo, and 52 km (32 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
