Baddua (Urdu: بددعا, lit.'Curse') is Pakistani television series, premiere on ARY Digital on 20 September 2021. It is produced by Abdullah Seja under banner iDream Entertainment. It features Amar Khan and Muneeb Butt as leads.[1][2] Baddua revolves around Abeer, a modern girl who is antagonized because she does not want to follow the conservative rules laid out by her household.

Reception[]

The show faced a load of backlash from the online audience for its promotion of misogyny and extremism, as well as a repetitive plotline.[5] While it struggles to gain high views on YouTube, it has done well on linear television with 7+ TRPs consistently.
