Baadshah Begum is an upcoming Pakistani television series, produced by Rafay Rashdi and directed by Khizer Idrees. It stars Zara Noor Abbas, Farhan Saeed, and Ali Rehman Khan. It is expected to release in 2022.[1][2][3][4][5]

It was initially decided to released the series on Television as a serial but the makers changed it to web series later. Saba Qamar was initially signed for the titular role of Baadshah Begum but due to date clashes she was replaced by Iman Ali.[6][7] The principle photography starts in October 2019 and the series is scheduled to be released sometime in 2020.[6] In April 2019, It was announced that Faysal Qureshi has joined the cast[8]

In late 2021, the project underwent a whole revamp by the makers and changed it to TV series again. Farhan Saeed joined the cast as a male lead.[9] Later, it also announced that Zara Noor Abbas will playe the female lead while Khizer Idrees of Laapata fame will serve as a director.[10]
