Bajaj (surname)

Indian (Panjab and Rajasthan): Hindu (Arora, Bania, Khatri) and Sikh name, from Panjabi bəjāj or bəzāz ‘clothier’, from Arabic bazzāz. The Aroras, Khatris, and also the Banias have clans called Bajaj. See also Arora, Khatri.[1]
