Katie and Roddy are getting married and PC Plum is the best man. Archie is driving them to Abbey Island and Edie is recording the wedding but when Archie's car breaks down outside the police station, it is up to Edie to save the day.

It's a lovely snowy day in Balamory and Miss Hoolie is planning to visit the Mcleod family, but Josie comes in to the cafe to tell Miss Hoolie that Christopher has a cold. The two think up something to make to cheer him up.

Edie has came back from her holiday in Paris, France, together with Archie and gives everyone at the nursery souvenirs she bought while she was there. She explains to Miss Hoolie that she recorded Archie's experiences in Paris but needs vocals from him in order to complete the video which she plans to show to the children. But while working on the video, Edie accidentally dropped her screwdriver which presses a button that wipes out all the sound in the video, leaving it "sound-less" for the children to hear. This is when Spencer comes to the rescue and uses music instead to make up for the sound wiped out from the mini-accident. That way the children can enjoy the Paris video happily.

Spencer realises that he forgot to organise the food. It is up to Suzie Sweet to help.

Someone or something is stealing all of the bird nuts from the bird table for all the birds residing at the nursery. Josie Jump decides to help Miss Hoolie buy some more bird nuts at Pocket & Sweets and feed the birds with the nuts. But when the bird nuts are stolen again, PC Plum investigates the mystery and finds out that a squirrel is taking all of the bird nuts. So he tells Josie and Miss Hoolie to use a bird feeder to prevent the squirrel from stealing the nuts and for everyone to enjoy birdwatching at the nursery. At the end of the day, Miss Hoolie closes the school cupboard and gets the nuts.

PC Plum has a police man visiting from Canada but wonders how he can take the Mountie on patrol, so he goes and sees Archie to make another bike. Last in the series.
