Baller Blockin' is a 2000 drama film set in New Orleans' Magnolia Projects. It stars Bryan “Birdman” Williams, Ronald "Slim" Williams, Juvenile, Manuel Vazquez, B.G., Lil Wayne, Turk, and Mannie Fresh with cameos by comedians Anthony Johnson and T.K. Kirkland.[1][2]
The film's soundtrack is performed by the Cash Money Millionaires.[3]
Synopsis[]
A flashback to the early life of Tanut (Juvenile) shows life in the Magnolia Projects of New Orleans in 1977. Local gangster Garr kills Tanut's father over a debt of $2,000. Now in 2000, Tanut joins forces with Beatrice (Baby), Iceberg Shorty (Lil’ Wayne), and Teke (Turk) to meet with representatives of a drug cartel and purchase a large quantity of cocaine.
The film contains scenes of everyday business in Magnolia with Iceberg Shorty selling drugs. Teke and Iceberg Shorty are also seen robbing a jewelry store.
