Barkha Singh is an Indian model, youtuber and actress.[1] She began her career as a child artist at the age of 10 and has since been associated with big brands such as Amazon, Cadbury, Coca-Cola and Clinic Plus. She has appeared in multiple national and international television commercials and is also known for her cameos in movies such as Mujhse Dosti Karoge!, Parineeta, Apna Asmaan and Samay: When Time Strikes. Singh is an animal activist. Apart from acting, she has also hosted online game shows.

Early life[]

Born in Bikaner, Rajasthan, academically very inclined, Singh is a merit holder in her higher secondary exams in Maharashtra. She is a graduate with honors in Mass Media from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She attended summer programme classes in Marketing and Business at University of California, Berkeley. She holds a master's degree in Sociology.[2]

Career[]

Barkha Singh started her career as a child artist. She played the younger Kareena Kapoor Khan as Tina in Mujhse Dosti Karoge.[3] Barkha Singh is well known for her role as Gia Sen in the show Girls on Top broadcast on MTV India.[4][5] She also played her cameo role in the serial MTV Fanaah as Vedika. Barkha is known for her character in the serial Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Love by Chance, as well as her role of Surbhi Varun Shukla in the soap opera Bhagyalaxmi on &TV. She had also worked as a VJ (media personality) in Channel V India.

She started her own YouTube page in January 2018, posting several travel and fashion blogs.[6] She has gained fame from doing several popular web shows like Work Life Balance, Engineering Girls.[7]
