Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College, also known as Rastraguru Surendranath College, established in 1953,[1] is a general degree college in Barrackpore. The College has received "College with Potential for Excellence" status by University Grant Commission, India. It Is an ISO 9001:2015 certified NAAC "A" grade Institution having ISO14001:2015 certified environment friendly campuses. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. There is also postgraduation course in commerce and some of science and arts subject. It is affiliated to West Bengal State University.[2]

Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).[1] Recently, it has been re-accredited 3rd cycle result grade A (3.08) and previously awarded B grade (2.83) by the NAAC in 2nd cycle by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.[3]
