Barry Alden French (February 12, 1922 – March 16, 1990) was an American football lineman who played at both the guard and tackle positions.

A native of Chamberlain, South Dakota, he played college football for Purdue. He played professional football in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Colts during the 1947, 1949, and 1950 seasons, and for the Detroit Lions in the 1951 season. He appeared in a total of 49 NFL games, including 29 as a starter.[1]
