Basic Flying Training School (India)

Basic Flying Training School (BFTS) is a premier training institute of Indian Air Force. It was established on December 16, 1987. BFTS is based at Air Force Station Bamrauli at Allahabad.[1]

It conducts ab-initio flying and ground training for officers of the Army, the Navy and para military forces.[2] The duration of the course is five months.[citation needed]
