Beňatina

Beňatina (Rusyn: Бенятина) is a village and municipality in the Sobrance District in the Košice Region of east Slovakia.

History[]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1333.

Geography[]

The village lies at an altitude of 410 metres and covers an area of 18.64 km2 (7 sq mi). It has a population of about 260 people.

The village has a public library, and a football pitch
