Bear Mattress is an American direct-to-consumer mattress and bedding brand based in Hoboken, New Jersey, USA.[1] Bear is ranked 7 in Inc Magazine's list of fastest growing companies in 2019 after a 13,000% increase in between 2016 and 2018.[2][1][3][4]

History[]

Bear Mattress was founded on September 1, 2014 by entrepreneurs Scott Paladini.[citation needed] In an interview with Tuck, Scott said that his dad was a mattress retailer and ran a large chain of mattress stores which inspired him to continue his family's business and start Bear.[5]

The company focuses on the production of sports mattresses alongside other companies like Eight Sleep, Zoma, , ReST, a small segment of the $28.5 billion global mattress industry.[6][7]
