Bebearia maximiana, the maximal forester, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.[2] The habitat consists of forests.

The larvae feed on an unidentified dicotyledonous tree.
