Bae Sung-woong (Korean: 배성웅), better known as Bengi (Korean: 벵기), is a South Korean former professional League of Legends player, and current coach for T1. Along with his teammate Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, Bengi is one of only two players to win three League of Legends World Championships, doing so in 2013, 2015, and 2016.[1] He also won the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational with SK Telecom T1.[2]
On November 27, 2017, he returned as a coach for SK Telecom T1.[3] He parted ways with the team in November 2018.[4]
Bengi enlisted in the army on January 28, 2019.[5]
On December 3, Bengi was promoted as a coach from T1 Challengers to T1's main roster, which competes in LCK's main stage.[6][7]
He had played a total number of 319 matches in his career, with 231 wins and 88 losses, and a win rate of 72.4%.[8]
