Benkiya Bale (transl. Fire Trap) is a 1983 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by the Dorai–Bhagavan duo. It is based on the novel of the same name by T. R. Subba Rao.[2][3][4] The film stars Anant Nag, Lakshmi, K. S. Ashwath and Thoogudeepa Srinivas.

The film was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by Rajan–Nagendra considered evergreen hits. The film is considered one of the best movies of Anant Nag and Lakshmi duo.

The music was composed by Rajan–Nagendra, with lyrics by Chi. Udaya Shankar.[5] All the songs composed for the film were received extremely well and considered evergreen songs.

"Benkiya Bale" was one of the highest grossing Kannada films of the year 1983. It ran for 100 days at many centres across Karnataka.
