Beta Ho To Aisa is a 1994 hindi film directed by Late Sir C.P. Dixit, presented by Babubhai latiwala of Bombino video & produced by Late Praveen Khanna; (Govinda ji’s brother in law). Starring Govinda, Varsha Usgaonkar, Gulshan Grover and Raza Murad in pivotal roles its fully shot in Mumbai and Kerala.[1]

Plot[]

Anand is a forest officer in Ramgarh with his pregnant wife Laxmi raising his two adolescent sons; Suraj, Chandar & Asha, serviced by a loyal domestic help Dinu and his son Raju whom they have bought up as their own. When Anand and an anguished JK spot thugs taking gold; the caravan is brought down with Jk taking over the bounty. Anand tricks JK and hides the same arousing JK's wrath though not before he has tracked down his loyal servant Dinu too thus forcefully misplacing Anand's family to Mumbai. A young Raju takes to a thug life to bring up his master's family he now considers as his own. He seldom encounters thugs whom he hoodwinks along with his accomplice Bantu. Raju and Jk's daughter Mini fall in love, while Suraj and Chandar are driven to corruption under Jk; a self styled big thug. Suraj as J.K.'s son Rakesh's friend wishes to anyhow marry Mini. Meanwhile when Laxmi discovers Raju's short cut ways she abandons him though Raju's begging brings his mother and sister back though later his sister gets victimised. How Raju, JK & Anand come dramatically to their destinies mysteriously forms the climax of the film.

Production[]

Sir Babubhai latiwala partnered with late Praveen khanna after a Sir Govinda event held at Shanmukhananda hall. The film also basically took shape because of a song that late Ravindra Jain had composed on the greatness of mothers. Film songs were choreographed by Master Kamal and Master Vijay Oscar; while action was by Master Rashid khan.
