Betty E. Komp (born 1949) is a Democratic former member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 22 from 2004 until 2017.

Early life[]

Komp has previously worked as a farm hand, youth minister, teacher, and assistant principal.[1]

Despite being a single mom, Komp returned to college and earned her BS and MS in Education from Western Oregon University.[1]

Personal life[]

Komp has four daughters and six grandchildren.[1]

Career[]

Betty Komp was formerly a member of the Oregon House of Representatives and served as Speaker Pro Tempore.
