Beware of the Dogs is the debut studio album by Welsh-Australian musician Stella Donnelly. It was released on 8 March 2019 under Secretly Canadian.

At the ARIA Music Awards of 2019, the album was nominated for Breakthrough Artist.[3]

At the J Awards of 2019, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year.[4]

At the AIR Awards of 2020, the album won Independent Album of the Year and Best Independent Pop Album or EP.[5]

Background[]

Donnelly independently released her debut EP, Thrush Metal, in 2017.[6] She was signed to Secretly Canadian in February 2018, while Thrush Metal was re-released by the label that June.[7] One song off of Thrush Metal, "Boys Will Be Boys", was included on Beware of the Dogs.
