Bhoi
The Bhoi (also known as Bauri) is an ethnic community found in Odisha who speak the Odia language. in Hindu rituals, and work as agricultural labourers.
In Maharashtra and Gujarat, their traditional occupations include acting as palanquin-bearers.[1]
The Bhoi are also found in Assam.[2]
In Odissa Bhoi are traditionally agriculturist or land owners.
