Bhora Kalan is a village in the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Kalan is a Persian language word meaning "big". Sometimes two villages of the same name are distinguished by the appellation Kalan or Khurd, meaning "small".

The best samosas of the area can be found at the main bus stand of Bhora Kalan and there are also the best electric shop and sanitary shop.

There are approximately three government schools in the village that run smoothly, but the village head (Pradhan) is totally corrupted. No basic facilities are available and the streets are full of water.
