The First XV was then a young team bolstered by a number of former top-flight players who turned out for Biggleswade The best known player to have pulled on the Biggleswade club shirt is John Orwin, captain of Gloucester, Bedford, and the Barbarians and also of England during their tour of Australia in 1988. A number of players have gone on to represent top flight clubs with the latest being Tom Litchfield (Northampton Saints, England U20's and DR with Bedford Blues) who played Minis U7 to U9 at Biggy before moving on the Bedford. The club run Minis U6 to U12, Girls, Youth, Colts and Mens First XV and Second XV and Ladies The club have a vast amount of pitch space with the 'club' side and Sheepwalk which provides ample playing space.
