William M. Gannon (born October 1962) is an American politician, attorney, and businessman. A Republican, he is currently serving his 2nd term as senator for the 23rd district of the New Hampshire Senate, having previously held the same seat from 2016 until 2018.[1] He represented the 4th Rockingham district in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2014 to 2016.[2][3]

During his first term in the Senate, Gannon served as Vice Chairman of the Transportation Committee, a member of the Judiciary Committee, and a member the Executive Departments and Administration Committee.[4] During the 2020-2022 legislative session, Gannon is serving as Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and Vice Chairman of the Commerce Committee.[5] Gannon’s Senate district covers nine towns in central Rockingham County.[6]

He and his wife Janice have four children and they live in Sandown, New Hampshire. Gannon graduated with a BA from Saint Anselm College and a JD from Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. He is an attorney and the owner of a small construction business.[7]
