William Jesse Longhurst is a British diplomat who served as UK Ambassador to Cambodia from 2014 to 2018. He was appointed on 5 June 2013 to succeed Mark Gooding and took office in January 2014. He has worked in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office since 1990.[1]

He is married to Kathryn Scheding and a father of four children. His wife and two of his children currently accompany him in Cambodia.[2]
