William Burton (born 3 September 1956 in Felixstowe, England) is a former motorcycle speedway rider in National League (speedway).

Joined Sheffield Tigers in 1977 in a swap for Carl Glover. Had 37 appearances in 1978 averaging fewer than 3 points per match.
