Birsel Vardarlı Demirmen (born Birsel Vardarlı on 12 July 1984) is a Turkish former basketball player. She played for Fenerbahçe İstanbul between 2006–19 and was the captain of the team between 2012–19. She also played for Migrosspor between 2000–06. Known for her sportsmanship and her rivalry with Işıl Alben, she won many titles with her club, making her one of the most successful Turkish female basketball players.

Vardarli acts as the brains of the storm that is Turkish basketball and adds purpose to the chaos. The Izmir native has a great basketball IQ and uses it to its fullest extent on the court. But on this team there is very little time to think. That makes split-second decision making a critical part of her game. The 23-year-old is never hesitant to take the big shot and she has assumed the role of clutch performer with the National Team. With EuroLeague Women experience under her belt, Vardarli has grown to be even more mature and that should show itself at EuroBasket Women 2007.

She participated at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain and won the gold medal with the national team. She was capped 105 times for the national team.
