BET presented film favorites with the new "BET's Star Cinema", celebrating African-American achievement in film. "BET's Star Cinema" showcases popular black movies for viewers' enjoyment.

In late 2009, BET changed "BlackBuster Movie" to "BET's Star Cinema".
