Blacklight is an upcoming American action film written by Nick May and directed by Mark Williams. The film stars Liam Neeson.[2] Blacklight is scheduled to be released in the United States by Open Road Films and Briarcliff Entertainment on February 11, 2022.

Premise[]

Travis Block (Liam Neeson) is a government operative coming to terms with his shadowy past. When he discovers a plot targeting U.S. citizens, Block finds himself in the crosshairs of the FBI director (Aidan Quinn) he once helped protect.[1]

Principal photography of the film started in November 2020 in Melbourne, Australia.[1][6][3] In January 2021 it was announced that a car chase scene would be filmed in Canberra.[7][8]

Release[]

Blacklight is scheduled to be released in the United States by Open Road Films and Briarcliff Entertainment on February 11, 2022.[9]
