Blood Command is a Norwegian rock band, formed in Bergen. The band was created by Yngve Andersen, Silje Tombre and Sigurd Haakaas in 2008.

Biography[]

The band released two EP's in 2009, before they released their debut album Ghostlocks in 2010. The album got nominated for the Norwegian Grammy award (Spellemannprisen) in 2011.[1] Blood Command played support for the Canadian hardcore band Comeback Kid on their European tour in 2011.[2]

Their second album, Funeral Beach received great reviews both domestically and internationally, from magazines like Kerrang! and Metal Hammer.[3] Following their critically acclaimed album, Blood Command played support for bands like Protest the Hero, Gallows, and Biffy Clyro.[4]

Their third album Cult Drugs got great reviews. Metal Hammer gave them 9/10, gave them 10/10, Ox Magazine gave them 9/10, and gave them 5/5.[5]

In June 2021, ex-Pagan vocalist Nikki Brumen was announced as the new vocalist of the band, replacing Karina Ljone.[6]
