"Boomerang" is a 1996 song recorded by German recording artist Blümchen (aka Jasmin Wagner). It is one of her most well-known songs and was released as the third single from her debut album, Herzfrequenz/Heartbeat. Produced by German producers/songwriters Arn Schlürmann and Stani Djukanovic, it was also co-written by Schlürmann with Alfred von Meysenbug and Lukas Hilbert. During its first chart run, it peaked at number 11 in Germany, number 9 in Switzerland, number 10 in Austria and number 16 in Norway (April 1997). On the Eurochart Hot 100, the single reached number 33 in August 1996. In the German Years - end Charts from 1996, Boomerang entire No. 87. It is sung in German, and the music video features Blümchen performing while she rolls around on roller skates. It was directed by Oliver Sommer. In 2010, "Boomerang" returned to the German charts for three weeks, peaking at number 2 on the download charts, and number 7 on the single charts. On the Europe Top 200 chart, it reached number 89.
