PJSC "Boryspil Automotive Plant" (Ukrainian: Бориспільський автозавод) is a private (closed) Ukrainian manufacturer of buses located in the village of Prilysky near Boryspil, owned by parent company .

History[]

The Boryspil Automotive Plant is one of the youngest factories of this profile in Ukraine. It is a part of , which is based on the idea of creating and producing a wide range of vehicles for various purposes to meet the needs of both the domestic market and markets of other countries.[1]

The plant appeared in 2002 on the basis of the enterprise Ukrvolgatehservice, which since 1998 has been collecting GAZ passenger cars and trucks, and was re-profiled for the licensed production of pickups and trucks of the Indian company Tata. Having installed several types of passenger bodies on their chassis, BAZ has become a leading supplier of buses in the Ukrainian market. More than 400 cars were built in 2003.[2][3]
