Broadcast Australia

Broadcast Australia was the seed asset in the publicly listed Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group (MCIG) fund.

History[]

Macquarie Bank Ltd completed its acquisition of National Transmission Authority in 2002 and re-branded it as Broadcast Australia.

The MCIG fund, including Broadcast Australia, was subsequently acquired by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) in 2009.[1]

On 12 November 2019, Broadcast Australia was rebranded to BAI Communications Australia.
