Bubba Foods is an American producer of frozen burgers founded in 2000.[1] Their primary product, Bubba burger is produced using 100% USDA Choice beef chuck and has grown considerably in popularity because of its convenience and high quality. The burger is designed to be cooked from frozen and does not require defrosting. To make the highest-quality burger, they avoided fillers and trimmings and use whole meat chucks that they grind in-house. They have added new products over the years with a family of turkey burgers, veggie burgers and Snack Bites.[2]

History[]

BUBBA burger was created by Walter “Bubba” Eaves in 1995. Distribution of Bubba burger began with grocery stores in the Southeast and expanded across the nation. The brand’s beef, turkey, veggie burgers and Snack Bites are now commonly found in many retail stores across the US.[3]

In 2011 Bubba Foods purchased four Times Grills in Jacksonville applying a fast-casual restaurant concept. The restaurant menu features all the varieties of Bubba Burgers.[4] In 2012, the brand closed the restaurants to refocus on in-store sales and product growth.
